👤 Our Founder’s Journey
Peregrinus was born from the backpack of our founder, Mutsa — a lifelong traveller who knows the fatigue of red-eye flights, stiff necks from airport naps, and the never-ending search for comfort on the move.
When travelling with his young family from Africa to Europe, and eventually to Aotearoa New Zealand, Mutsa watched the excitement of flying turn into discomfort — especially for his kids, enduring long-haul flights in economy seats.
He saw a gap: travel accessories that promise relief but rarely deliver. So, he envisioned something better — gear that’s minimalist, portable, and actually works.
What started as a personal project soon evolved into a full mission: to make rest and comfort accessible anywhere, for anyone. Peregrinus was founded not just to sell products, but to solve a problem every traveler understands.
